What work will you do?

You will: 

• Deep dive into the intricacies of aviation data to build new data-driven products and develop innovative uses of artificial intelligence for the aviation industry. 
• Work closely with our clients to understand their business problems and design AI based solutions to solve them. 
• Lead projects independently. This includes designing the solution, stakeholder management and team leading and coaching.
• Lead high-impact customer engagements, ensuring teams deliver on project timelines, communicate resource needs, and mitigate risks effectively.
• Ramp-up projects. Understand the client's needs in the beginning of projects and clear obstacles so that your full team can join and start working immediately.
• Build complex machine learning, computer vision or generative AI solutions running on cloud environments.  
• Work on different aspects of a solution including architecture, data ingestion and machine learning.
• Turn data science prototypes into products with robust and production ready pipelines. 
• Contribute to the development of end-to-end data solutions in collaboration with cross-functional data experts and business stakeholders. 
• Expand our zeroG practices and culture through contributions to internal topics and initiatives. 
• Quickly "connect-the-dots" for identifying new business opportunities for zeroG in conversations with (potentially new) clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, in order to develop new capabilities at zeroG in cutting-edge technical domains.

What skills should you have?

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, mathematics, software engineering or a related subject. 
• Consulting experience and a track record of successfully collaborating with clients to solve their business and technical problems.
• Experience in understanding business problems and designing AI based solutions to solve them
• Excellent knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and practical experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions. 
• Experience working with cloud analytical environments and a solid understanding of cloud solution architecture.
• Experience in designing and building data integration pipelines.
• Experience in project management, particularly knowledge of agile project setups (e.g. Kanban, Scrum, SAFe). 
• Proficiency in using one or more programming or scripting languages to work with data, especially Python, including commonly used data science libraries, e.g. scikit-learn, Pandas, Pytorch, OpenCV. 
• Strong communication skills (our working language is English) and comfort delivering results to stakeholders and colleagues. 
• A strong desire to learn every day and a self-starter mentality. 

The following skills and experience would also be an asset:

• Experience in the aviation environment. 
• Ability to use and implement state-of-the-art generative AI solutions; especially when introducing such to big-corporate and assessing associated risks.
• Knowledge of computer vision methods and/or natural language processing, tools and libraries. 
• DevOps container and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. 
• Ability to implement MLOps Pipelines in cloud environments such as Azure and GCP. 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git). 
• Familiarity with SQL.
